Why does the local version find more jobs?
JobMaster Local visits LinkedIn, Seek, Jora and Hatch the same way you would in a browser - just automated. The online version uses a third-party job feed (Adzuna) that doesn't include every listing. Adzuna covers roughly 20% of the AU market by our March 2026 sample; the four sites Local hits combined cover north of 80%. Coverage varies by role type, seniority, and city, but for most searches Local will surface several times more relevant matches than Online would.
Do I need technical skills to use the local version?
No. The setup wizard walks you through everything. You'll need an API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google - we show you how to get one in two minutes. After that the app runs on its own.
What happens if I stop paying for Premium?
Your local app keeps working exactly as before. You only lose cloud sync, email alerts, and the remote dashboard. The $100 standalone purchase is yours forever.
Can I switch from Online to Local later?
Yes. Purchase the local version anytime. Before you cancel your Online subscription, export your application history from Settings → Data, then import it into the local app on first run.
What's the difference between Standalone Local and Local Premium?
Standalone Local is the desktop app, full stop. Local Premium adds an optional cloud layer on top so your local data syncs to a cloud dashboard you can check from anywhere, and high-scoring jobs trigger email alerts. Both find the same jobs locally.
