JobMaster is an Australian software product that automates the slow, repetitive parts of looking for work, so the humans involved can spend their time on the parts that need a human.

Why we built it

The Australian job market is increasingly mediated by automated systems on the employer side: applicant-tracking software that screens resumes by keyword match, recruiters running boolean searches, AI shortlisting tools that ingest a CV in seconds. The job-seeker, meanwhile, still hand-tailors every application like it's 2005. That asymmetry costs Australian workers hundreds of hours a year and rewards the people who write the cover letter robotically anyway. JobMaster closes the gap. The matching is yours, the writing is yours, the click-to-apply is yours; what JobMaster removes is the typing.

The team

JobMaster is built by a small Australia-based team. Detailed founder bios and team page coming as the product grows. In the meantime, every email to contact@jobmaster.com.au is read and answered personally.

Where JobMaster runs

JobMaster runs in your browser at app.jobmaster.com.au. The backend is hosted on Google Cloud Platform in Sydney (australia-southeast1). User data lives in per-user namespaces with strict isolation. Your resume, your cover letter, your job pipeline: yours. JobMaster Assistant, the companion browser extension, is live now on Microsoft Edge and the Chrome Web Store. JobMaster Mobile, our read-only companion app, is now on Android, with iOS coming soon.
